Bryan Powell, Partner

Bryan has a B.S. in Business from the University of Minnesota. He has been involved in a number of start-ups, acquisitions and divestitures throughout his career in publishing, printing and manufacturing industries including seven years in various financial positions with National Computer Systems and seven years at VNU Business Media, the last three as VP-General Manager of the Minneapolis office. He is currently Vice President of Finance and Operations of Mach 1 Business Media, LLC. He is also involved in a number of consulting projects involving company turnarounds and new business startups.

John Powell, Partner

John spent six years with Larson Allen Weishair & Co starting with their internal accounting and then worked with their small clients on their financial statements, audits, and individual and business tax returns. He also spent four years as CFO of a large local tree maintenance company handling all of their financial information including budgets, financial statements, payroll, tax returns, bank financing, insurance (auto, liability & health), negotiating contracts with vendors, and managing a small staff. Then he started his accounting/consulting business working with small business owners and new businesses - from concept, to launch, to operation.

Lisa Powell Watson, Partner

Lisa earned her B.A in Business Administration and her Master’s at the University of Dubuque. She has over 20 years of experience in office management and organization. Lisa also excels in time management, creating policies and procedures, creating business forms and documents such as business cards, letterhead, invoices, form letters, brochures and flyers – and she has extensive experience in group dynamics, counseling and public speaking.
